PriceChime for Takealot sellers

From Stock Recon report to claim documents, without the clutter.

Keep stock reconciliation reports, claim documents and ticket references together. PriceChime helps you prepare and track a claim; you submit it to Takealot.

Commercial · R99/month after trial · No card required for the trial

How it works

01

Set up your business details once

Confirm your legal business name, address and VAT status. Set up automatic report retrieval where available, or upload a Stock Recon CSV downloaded from the Seller Portal.

02

Get your claim documents

For an eligible report, generate a numbered invoice and download it with the CSV. Saved invoices remain available to download again. Claim-ready emails can include the documents and submission instructions.

03

Submit and track the outcome

Use the Takealot submission link, attach the CSV and invoice, and use the email registered with your Takealot account. Save the ticket reference in PriceChime. Mark a claim paid only once compensation has arrived.

Your questions, answered

Does PriceChime submit claims automatically?

No. Report retrieval and document preparation are separate from submission. Submit through Takealot and record the ticket reference here. Changing a status in PriceChime does not submit anything.

Can I upload a report myself?

Yes. You can upload a Stock Recon CSV from the Seller Portal when automatic retrieval is unavailable.

Will Takealot approve my claim?

Approval and payment are determined by Takealot. Check the report, your business details and the applicable submission deadline before submitting. Avoid claiming a report already submitted through another tool.

How is VAT handled?

Use your correct VAT registration details and verify that the report’s VAT treatment is appropriate for your business. Ask your accountant if you are unsure; software-generated documents do not establish tax eligibility.
